Most runners have never seen their own form on video.

You'd be surprised what's there — and what you can fix.

A running analysis is a full picture of how your body handles the load you're putting on it. We look at movement, mechanics, and aerobic capacity — and you leave with specific numbers and a clear plan.

Here's exactly what the session covers.

  1. Movement screen — a full-body assessment of mobility, stability, and the compensations that show up under running-specific load.

  2. Gait analysis on video — we record you running, then go through the footage together. You see exactly what's happening at each phase of your stride.

  3. Load capacity assessment — where your current fitness is versus where your tissue actually is. This is the gap most runners don't know they have.

  4. VO2 max testing (available as add-on) — your actual aerobic ceiling, measured. Not estimated from a watch algorithm. Useful for training zone precision and race pacing.

  5. Report Summary: You leave with a summary document: your findings, the key issues, and specific recommendations for training adjustments or next steps.

Right for you if:

  • You're mid-training-block and want to get ahead of injury before it happens

  • You keep hitting the same problem every build and want to know why

  • You're prepping for a fall race and want to know your actual aerobic ceiling

  • You've wondered whether your form is contributing to your injury history

  • You want a clear picture of your load capacity before ramping mileage

VO2 Max Testing

Real numbers, not estimates.

Most runners base their training zones on watch estimates or age-based formulas. VO2 max testing gives you actual measured data — your true aerobic ceiling, your ventilatory thresholds, the zones that match your physiology.  For runners chasing a PR or managing chronic injury, that difference matters. Generic zones lead to chronic overtraining in easy runs and not enough work at threshold.

You leave with a plan, not just a report.

The written summary covers what we found, what it means for your training, and what to do about it. If the assessment reveals something worth addressing in a structured way, I'll tell you — and if the 12-week program is the right fit, we'll talk through what that looks like.  There's no obligation. The analysis stands alone as a useful session.
